Gaia's New Home...
Gaia is thrilled to announce that we have found a new home for our signature retreats and programs as well as some new and exciting offerings.
From the moment I stepped on the property at Gaia Wellness Retreat in Wakefield QC, I felt deeply connected with the energy of the land and the spirit of Pachamama. That connection has inspired and supported the deep healing work made possible in that space.
So as we transitioned away from our beloved home in Wakefield, I went searching for a similar connection to a space that would emenate the same energy and quality service that we have been able to offer our guests for the past 6 years.
I knew I had found it from the moment I entered the property at Harmony. And when you meet Mike and Sera, the owners, you will know why we chose this as our new home.
The land vibrates with calming energies, the cabins and all of the common spaces exude warmth and serenity, Mike and Sera and their team greet you with a smile and hug (if your a hugger) and you feel safe and relaxed right away, knowing that every last detail has been thoughtfully considered allowing you the freedom to let go and let us guide you within...
I say this with deep appreciation for the connections that brought us to this magical place, Harmony is truly the most beautiful and welcoming space that I have ever retreated in and I have never been more excited to welcome our cherished clients and guests to join us in 2024 for so many incredible offerings in this stunning new location.

Harmony PEC started with a vision and a passion.

A space to embrace nature and respect Mother Earth, connecting oneself to the beauty and simplicity of just being. A place that could heal, comfort and enlighten. A stay that offered refined, relaxed, earth-friendly, nature inspired details . Plant-based food that would expand your palate, curiosity and excite your senses. A property that highlights the beauty of nature through forest trails, expansive lakefront and eco-rich wetlands, 28 acres of magic energy.
Your stay includes accommodations in luxury cabins nestled at the top of an escarpment, surrounded by the wilded woods of nature. In the centre of the circled cabins is a fire pit and seating area waiting for long fireside chats under the starry sky. Each cabin is appointed with relaxed sustainable details. We believe that staying surrounded by nature provides the perfect element to help you relax, sleep well and heal. All designs and decor have been sourced and developed with intention using sustainable products and practices, highlighting that working with nature provides us with peace, balance and beauty. Harmony is located in Waupoos which is derived from Ojibwe waabooz Rabbit.
This was the name of Mississauga First Nation’s Chief Waupoos. As caretakers of this magical place and in spirit of those who walked here before us, Harmony honours the Indigenous history of this land, taking only what they need.

As you enter Harmony PEC you will experience a diverse landscape including shale, Juniper trees, and free-growing Mullein. The winding drive leads to the edge of the escarpment, which offers sweeping, breathtaking views of Lake Ontario.
The yoga deck sits at the edge of the embankment with views that still the soul, slow the heart and prompt you to breathe deeply. On a clear night the glow of the stars stir the spirit to universal consciousness and higher dimensions.
The vista of environmentally-protected wetlands is a treasure chest of animal and plant life. It is biodiversity at its best. With blue and white herons, frogs, swans, eagles, owls, otters and beavers, it has its own wonderful world.
At the heart of Harmony is an untouched 300 year old forest. The serenity, wisdom and resiliency of the trees embrace you with each step along the moss carpeted trails as you walk barefoot to connect with the earth’s energy.
And with 1400 ft of waterfront and stone covered beach, Lake Ontario is at your feet. Each day the water offers a different view for you to take in and wash over you. Crystal clear waters to refresh and soothe you, whether you go for a dip, lounge lakeside, or shut your eyes and unwind to the rhythm of the water.
